Jason Rohr CH, b. 1999

Jason Rohr’s artistic practice combines references to romantic poetry and classical tragedy with imagery drawn from digital and consumer culture. Through different techniques and visual languages, he explores metaphysical desire, the limits of anthropocentric thought, and the human pursuit of technology, progress, omniscience, and immortality.

He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) in 2022, having previously studied physics at ETH Zurich. He lives and works in Zürich, Switzerland.
