Reminisce-Supports: Sebastian Haas
Opening 21.3.26 | 6 - 10 pm
In his second solo exhibition at KALI Gallery Lucerne, Bern-based artist Sebastian Haas presents new works in reverse glass painting. The exhibition brings together works situated between image, object, and space, unfolding an installation that fully reveals itself only through walking, pausing, and lingering.
Haas’s practice combines fragments of industrial materials, glass, found objects, and images drawn from digital visual worlds. These disparate elements enter into dialogue and coalesce into precisely composed yet open-ended arrangements. Grids, rails, and boxes function as structural supports that create cohesion while simultaneously allowing for shifts, associations, and traces of memory.
With the title Reminisce-Supports, the exhibition addresses questions of use, time, and storage. Materials become carriers of experience, images trigger both personal and collective memories. Between the familiar and the anonymous, a resonant space emerges in which perception, memory, and materiality intersect.
